Monday marked the announcement of the 2013 edition of The World’s 50 Best Restaurants. The culinary vanguard, Noma, has fallen to the second spot, only to be overshadowed by Spain’s El Celler de Can Roca. Located in Girona, they are one of three Spanish restaurants earning a place in the top ten (making Spain the most well-represented nation on the list). I am happy to see that Mugaritz is still holding strong at number four – can’t wait to visit this fall!
